From a New York Times Bestseller comes a story of a girl who discovers she belongs to the most powerful angelic faction of them all. Two hot boys are warring over her and an entire faction of angels want her dead.
This Boxed set includes the first 2 books in the Celestra Series, Ethereal and Tremble
ETHEREAL
Sixteen year-old, Skyla Messenger is a dead girl walking.
When her newly remarried mother moves the family to Paragon Island, to a house that is rumored to be haunted, Skyla finds refuge in Logan Oliver, a boy who shares her unique ability to read minds.
Skyla discovers Logan holds the answers to the questions she’s been looking for, but Logan’s reluctance to give her the knowledge she desires leaves her believing Logan has a few secrets of his own.

Skyla’s bloodlines may just be connected to the most powerful angelic beings that roam the earth, and the more she knows, the more danger she seems to be in.

Suddenly an entire faction of earthbound angels wants her dead, at least she still has Logan, or does she?

TREMBLE (Celestra Series Book 2)
Sixteen year-old, Skyla Messenger is determined to bring back the dead.
For Skyla, being an angel from the coveted Celestra faction hasn’t been easy.
An entire band of wicked angels is after her blood, a Sector is after something far more sinister, and her newfound powers lead her on a quest to save her dead father.

Skyla and her boyfriend Logan try to piece together a plan to take down the Countenance in order to maintain their relationship, but will Skyla’s burgeoning feelings for Gage get in the way?
And when Skyla decides to use her powerful blood to change the fate of another deceased soul, just who is going to stop her?

This review is for the entire Celestra Series.
The story line was somewhat unique, and I was interested to see what happened to the characters, but the books dragged out forever. The author could have easily put all 9 books (more if you count Ever After) into less than half that many. The main character, Skyla, becomes a bit annoying with her inability to decide between three men, and the action vital to the storyline doesn't even start until around the fourth or fifth installment of the series.
The thing that drove me battier than any of these things though, was the author's use of the words necrotic and distal. I think both words were used about 15 times in each book (I exaggerate, but they were used entirely too often) There were several other ticks and inconsitiencies in the writing that made me wish I had not invested that much of my time with these books.

Celestra Series Boxed Set Books 12 eBook Addison Moore Reviews

This was kind of a let down... it has a good OVERALL story... but definitely needs to be executed better. It's like this was written for 8 year olds or something. Wishy-washy main character who really gets kind of annoying... There is not details about the plot until the last couple of books... I feel like this was very rushed by the author... she should definitely revisit these, edit them, then relaunch. Oh and fire her editor because whoever they are... suck! Hoping a new version of this series comes out when the author has time to dedicate to the actual books and story.

*I received this book for free in exchange for my honest review*
I don't usually read this kind of book, but sounded interesting so I bought the set. I can't put them down and am ordering the next in the series so that I don't have to stop and wait for the next. Oh, did I forget to tell you that I am 79 yrs old and my favorite author is James Patterson? Yeah. On the negative side, I would love a job proofreading and these books so far could use a good proofreader!
If you are a die hard Twilight fan then this most definitely a book that will interest you. Essentially this book follows the same plot and story line of twilight except they are angels and not vampires. Now these are NOT angels that you normally think of. These are "bad" angels who smoke, drink, lie, and sneak out. Interesting as it is, that made me enjoy this book even more. There is a love triangle which I absolutely love and there is also a group of people who don't like the new group and are out to get them. Now I wouldn't say this book flows perfectly because at parts it will feel rough and choppy but seeing where it led, I understand why the author and editor chose this approach. Other than that, the books are great. I actually ended up purchasing the next set of books to read since I was hooked after the first book. Just a heads up, the books do end with cliff hangers so if you aren't a big fan, you have been warned. Overall a great book series that anyone who likes Twilight or other paranormal fiction will enjoy.

I was able to receive these two books in exchange for my honest, unbiased review and I hope that you will consider purchasing a copy after reading my review.

Well, I don't even know how to review this. So it'll be short. Characters were so unreal and unlikable, annoying and irritating. The love triangle was the worse I've ever read, there was no plot. I'm just glad these books were free, I would have kicked my own behind if I had to pay for something this awful. I'm really sorry to say this, at times I wasn't sure if an adult or teenager has written these books. Then, to top it off these kids are 16 and having openly sex with teachers? NO!!! Just no.
I've had a really hard time getting through the books. I'm a writer and editor, and I honestly feel like this author could have benefitted from a harsh editor. Everything is overly-detailed in a bad way. I feel like the first 30 or so pages could have easily be condensed into about 5 pages while still giving the right feel to the story.

The main character is hard to get behind. One second she loves her new home town, the next she hates it. One second she's in love, the next she isn't so sure. I get being a 16 year old girl, but this was confusing and unrealistic, even for a fantasy/paranormal story.

I do have to say that I absolutely love the idea of the series. I'm a huge paranormal and fantasy fan, and have enjoyed many young adult stories. Unfortunately, this one fell flat. It is confusing, unfocussed, and could seriously use an edit.

I received the first two books in this series in exchange for my honest review.
I was very excited to start this, as I love multiple book sets. I read so quickly that when I get multiple books together, it makes me feel like I'm getting more value out of a book since it takes me longer to read instead of just spending a couple hours and being done. That being said, I tried so hard to like this. There were just a couple things that were just flat out annoying to me.

First, the heroine could read minds. That's amazing! I love it. But it's mentioned for the first time in the book as if it's just an afterthought. It kind of was like, "I ate tacos for dinner, and oh yeah! I can read minds. After the tacos I cleaned up". That's not exactly how it was done, but that's just how it felt to me. I would have been far more impressed by it if it were first mentioned in a more interesting way. The way it was done just seemed lazy and I'm not okay with that.

Second, the Hero just so happened to be able to read minds, too. If mindreading was common, I could see this, but from the way ti's written, it's totally unheard of to read minds... so how is it that the girl and the "OMGZ So SEXY!" hero BOTH can do it? Yeah, too much for me.

I just couldn't do it. Sorry! I can see some other folks really enjoying this story, but I just couldn't handle it.

Note I received this product free or at a discount for review purposes.
